We’re Shipping Out

The 137th Kentucky Derby is over, and so is Kentucky Confidential. Unlike the Derby winner, we’re not continuing on to the Preakness. At least, not this year. Look for us to return in 2012 for the entire Triple Crown season.

When John Scheinman and I launched the website on April 26, we hoped to publish some of the best Derby handicapping, stories, videos, and photographs that could be found anywhere online. Thanks to the stellar work of our contributors — Andy Andrews, Blinkers Off, Pete Denk, Jeff Krulik, Claire Novak, Brendan O’Meara, and Scott Serio — we were able to do that over the course of two exhilarating and intense weeks.

Thank you, to all of our supporters and sponsors, readers and viewers. See you next year at Churchill Downs!

Thanks for a wonderful ride to you and all the contributors. You really made me feel I was there. I enjoyed it immensely, but sorry to see it end … too soon!
